Continues to expand

ValleyBike is the regional bike share program in Western Massachusetts in Easthampton, Holyoke, Amherst, South Hadley, Northampton, and Springfield as well as UMASS Amherst.  


On Saturday, April 24thValleyBike opened the newest Easthampton bike station kiosk, Parson Street Station.  This new bike station kiosk is very close to the Manhan Rail Trail, with its 6 miles of trail within Easthampton itself.


ValleyBike offers a number of membership options:

  • Founding Member
  • Annual Membership
  • Monthly Membership
  • Per Ride Pass
  • Student Annual Membership
  • Access Pass 
  • Day Pass


Using ValleyBike takes only 4 steps:

  1. Join - purchase a membership on the app, on the website, or right at the bike station kiosk
  2. Unlock - using the app, your membership card or key fob, located right on the bike’s handlebars
  3. Ride - just hop on and ride for recreation or to run errands
  4. Return - when you are done, simply return the bike and be sure it has registered “docked” before you walk away


ValleyBike Share is open from 4 A.M.- Midnight. Bikes can be returned to stations during this time, but new ones cannot be taken.
