Distinguished Young Women of Greater Easthampton Scholarship Program

Presents "Who Runs the World?"

High school junior girls from across the Greater Easthampton area will join together for the Distinguished Young Women of Greater Easthampton program to be held Sunday, April 28th at Hampshire Regional High School. Participants will compete for approximately $15,000 in college scholarships and the opportunity to represent the program at the Massachusetts Distinguished Young Women program for 2020. 


The program is open to the public and will begin at 1 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door for $20 or advance purchase by contacting Julie Grden at jgrden31@gmail.com.

The 15 young women competing will be evaluated by a panel of five judges in the following categories: Scholastics (25%), Interview (25%), Talent (20%), Fitness (15%), and Self-Expression (15%). The participant selected as the Distinguished Young Woman of Greater Easthampton will advance to the state level at the Massachusetts Distinguished Young Women program in Holyoke, Massachusetts in August 2019, where she will join with other representatives from across the state in competing for cash scholarships and the opportunity to represent the program at the Distinguished Young Woman National Finals.

Distinguished Young Women of Greater Easthampton welcomes the following participants:   Juliana Dickinson of Easthampton,    Jacqueline Young of Easthampton, Shannon Callery of Easthampton, Natalie Gomez of Easthampton, Lilianna Marcil of Easthampton, Arianna Navarro of Easthampton, Hailee Wheeler of Easthampton, Ayse Okatan of Easthampton, Malia Sands of Easthampton, Jordyn Reil of Easthampton, Aine McDonald of Worthington, April Warner of Chesterfield, Mary Elias-Gillette of Haydenville, Annie Curran of Southampton and Lauren Hufnagel of Southampton.
