The Westhampton Public Library children's room is a bustling place! Last month, we were excited to show off our new forest floor rug with all kinds of animals. Kids have loved coming in to identify the animals. Our collection features board books, early readers, chapter books, picture books, music cd's and audiobooks, and graphic novels in addition to tons of fun toys and games. A separate room houses young adult books. We also have a tabletop telescope that is available for checkout to Westhampton residents. Additionally, we have science kits- each with their own experiment for grades K-2 and 3-6. Kids can earn prizes as they go along and complete the experiments. Stop by to ask us more or for a demonstration of our telescope or to peek inside our science kits.
Regular programs include a playgroup every Tuesday at 10am and a Storytime every Wednesday at 10am.
