Shoes = Funds

The Michael E. Smith Middle School PTO (MESMS PTO) is conducting a shoe drive fundraiser that will run through mid-March to raise funds for events and activities for the students.  MESMS PTO is working in conjunction with Funds2Orgs.

Funds2Orgs will redistribute the donated shoes throughout their network of small business partners in helping them create, maintain and grow their business in developing countries where economic opportunity and jobs are limited.  Proceeds from the sales of the shoes collected in shoe drive fundraisers are used to feed, clothe and house their families.

Jodi Ross, President of the MESMS PTO said, “We are excited about our shoe drive.  We know that most people have extra shoes in their closets they would like to donate to us.By doing so, we raise money for the students of Michael E. Smith Middle School and we have the chance to help families in developing nations who need economic opportunities.  It’s a win-win for everyone.”

The MESMS PTO has a number of drop off locations throughout South Hadley. Those are listed on the flyer.
